The Chief Instructor and Founder of the Universal Combat Arts Academy (UCAA) is Damian Kierans. Master Kierans currently holds the rank of 8th Dan GrandMaster Instructor in Ryukyu Kempo & Kyusho-Jitsu (Dim Mak).

Master Kierans has been lucky to have been able to travel the world and train and be certificated by some of the best martial artists there is. Master Kierans operates his own full time martial arts centre in Monaghan Town where his students range from 5 years old to their mid 80's.
